App Programming Course Summary

The world is changing quickly and education needs to evolve with it. While most students have exposure to core subjects such as maths and science, few have a chance to get to grips with the innovations that shape society. One of the most significant changes of the past decade is the rise of smartphones and apps, which have become an integral part of everyday life.

On Immerse Education’s App Development programme, participants will spend two weeks learning how to develop apps for smartphones. This will include gaining a key grounding in the theory behind creating apps, as well as the practical implementation of theory through building an app of their own. On the stunning grounds of Royal Hospital School, participants will have access to exceptional facilities where they will benefit from the expert tutelage of our passionate teaching staff.

Immerse Education’s technology focused summer schools develop vital STEM skills for students aged 11-15 years old. Fun and dynamic classes are led by passionate experts, and a strong focus on practical exploration of the subject means that participants ‘learn by doing’, emerging from the programme not only with new knowledge and skills, but the confidence to apply this expertise to their future studies.

Immerse is an award-winning programme for the intellectually curious
