Our Medicine programme is one of our most popular programmes, and it’s not hard to see why: challenging classes provide an insight into a variety of university-level medical topics. Medicine is concerned with a variety of practices to maintain and restore health by the prevention and treatment of illness, including pharmaceuticals, psychotherapy, and surgery. It’s never too early to begin to think about what studying Medicine would entail, and the myriad career opportunities within the field.
It will cover some of the main topics that you would encounter during a Medicine undergraduate course such as: anatomy and physiology; neuroscience and neuropsychology; emergency medicine; and even cutting-edge research in experimental medicine. As well as developing their medical knowledge, students also participate in workshops designed to prepare them for the BMAT and UKCAT aptitude tests.
