We place a huge emphasis on creating a supportive and approachable environment at Immerse Education. Our mentors are a team of friendly, specially trained graduates and undergraduates from Cambridge University or Oxford University, who help our participants quickly settle into the programme. The mentors have first hand experience with a variety of academic and non-academic issues and are therefore in the best position to offer friendly, confidential one-to-one advice. It’s an unrivalled support network that we’re incredibly proud of.
Early July Programme Manager
Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge University
I’m Hephzibah (Hepsi). I am one of the programme managers, in charge of the fun activities you’ll be taking part in. I just finished studying Law at Gonville and Caius College and I’m going into my fourth year studying Management at the Judge Business School in Cambridge. I play college netball and university athletics. I was the social secretary of the university’s athletics club and will be women’s captain next year. I am and will have been the access officer of my college for two years running. I was also the law president and secretary of my college’s law society.
Early July Summer Mentor
St Anne’s College, Oxford University
Hi! I’m Naomi, I have completed my first year studying Engineering Science at St. Anne’s College, Oxford. I come from Hampshire in England. In my first year at Oxford, I really enjoyed meeting a huge variety of new people, as well as learning so much, from studying properties of materials to learning how to program. I love to be active: I play for the women’s second basketball team, as well as playing lacrosse and netball in college. I enjoy baking and cooking and pretty much anything related to food! I love to travel and explore new places. I enjoy music: I sing in an acapella choir and play both the piano and flute. I am also an avid reader. My favourite things include cups of tea, hot weather, long walks, and finding a good bargain! I am really looking forward meeting my mentee family, spending some time in the beautiful colleges of Cambridge, and making some friends for life!
Early July Summer Mentor
King’s College, Cambridge University
Hi! My name is Dylan and I’ve just finished my 1st year studying medicine at King’s College. I can definitely say I have enjoyed my time in Cambridge so far and hope you do too.
I am a cox for the women’s second boat in the college rowing club and also get to do some rowing myself when I’m free. When I’m not in lectures or studying I love going punting on the backs. Life at Cambridge is very busy and can get hectic but with the support of tutors, supervisors, and a great group of friends it’s easily one of the best places in the world.
I’m really looking forward to meeting you and can assure you that you will have a really great time!
