Online research opportunities & outcomes
Explore medical research early
Our online medical programmes give pre-university students the chance to explore medical research with expert guidance. Combining one-on-one tutoring and a research project, this programme allows students to investigate different areas of medicine before zoning in on the topic that interests them the most. At the end of the programme, top students can present their findings at the Immerse Online Symposium, gaining experience in presenting complex medical topics.
Develop key skills for the future
Important transferable skills, including communication, problem-solving, and independent investigation, will be developed by participants through working on their research projects. They will acquire the hard skills necessary to analyse medical issues, come up with solutions, and effectively communicate their conclusions. Studying medicine online also imparts time management and critical thinking skills, both of which are crucial for professional success in the ever-evolving medical field.
A well-rounded learning experience
There is more to our online medicine programme than just memorising medical information. Students will apply what they have learned in their research project, gaining better grasp of how medicine affects various facets of life by collaborating closely with an expert tutor.
Receive recognition for your work
At the end of Immerse Education’s medicine online courses, those who have completed an Accredited Online Research programme will receive 8 UCAS points or 3 college credits. All students will receive a Certificate of Achievement, which formally recognises the skills and knowledge they’ve gained. This certificate can be added to their academic portfolio, showcasing their commitment to extracurricular learning and medical research - helpful for university applications and future career opportunities in the healthcare field.

This global network helps students continue learning and sharing ideas long after Immerse Education’s programme ends.
