The development of the research project will be guided by an Oxbridge tutor. The whole programme is facilitated online over the course of 10 contact hours, or 15 hours. Participants can choose the intensity of their course, and whether they wish to undertake our traditional 1:1 online research programme (accredited or non-accredited options available) or prefer to be surrounded by their peers with our “group” online research programme.
The Online Research Programme provides undergraduate-level research opportunities to motivated and high achieving students.

Online Research Pathway FAQs
Immerse Education’s Online Research Programme is designed for participants who want to enhance their personal research and study skills in preparation for university, whilst also developing deeper knowledge in their chosen field.
Led by your personal tutor, you will undertake a research project assessed at university-level and receive regular 1:1 supervision from a specialist who has built their expertise at Oxford, Cambridge or an Ivy League University.
This course is ideal for participants wanting to gain invaluable experience for writing a dissertation or thesis at university, whilst also familiarising themselves with the demands of an Oxbridge or Ivy League degree. Alternatively, this is a fantastic opportunity to experience a subject you have never studied before
Similar to Immerse Education’s traditional Classic Online Research Programme, the Accredited Online Research Programme offers personalised 1:1 tutoring with tutors who have acquired their expertise at prestigious universities like Oxford and Cambridge. Completion of this programme awards participants 8 UCAS points.
While both courses will teach you high-level skills with an experienced tutor, the AORP includes 5 additional hours of tuition and a number of qualification specific lessons designed to ensure you meet the requirements of our internationally recognised awarding body.
Our Publication Online Research Programme is for students seeking publication in an independent high school research journal. Participants work 1:1 with expert subject tutors and publication coaches, developing university-level research and writing skills in a virtual environment while earning UCAS points.
UCAS applications depend on a wide range of factors that assess your suitability for university. One of these is UCAS points. Accredited courses can add UCAS points to your application. The AORP can provide you with 8 UCAS points to help showcase your skills.
UCAS points on qualifications do not expire, and you will always be able to add your AORP points to your application. But, some universities prefer recent qualifications. This usually means qualifications taken within 2 years of applying to university.
To learn more about UCAS Tariff points and how to apply them to UK University Applications visit the official UCAS Tariff Points page.
In order to participate, students would need to have a computer/tablet and internet connection access. They would also need a working webcam to engage with their classes.
