Meet some of our Engineering tutors

Mudassar
Mudassar is a gold-medallist engineer and a doctoral scholar at Cambridge University, with professional experience at a Fortune 100 company and a Big 4 strategy consulting firm. He is a trained educator who has supervised Cambridge engineering undergraduates. He has been with Immerse since 2018, mentoring 85 students aged 14–18 from across five continents. Beyond academics, Mudassar enjoys racquet sports, is a devoted Man City fan (yes, really!), and is currently training to climb Kilimanjaro. As a fun fact, Mudassar can calculate anyone’s day of birth from their date of birth — all in his head.

Dr Robail
Dr Robail is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the Biomedical Image Analysis Group, University of Oxford. His research focused on biomedical image analysis, computer vision, and computational (machine-learning-based) analysis of images.

Immerse Education’s Engineering online courses are open to participants aged 13 to 18 who have a keen interest in engineering. These courses are designed to accommodate participants from various academic backgrounds across the globe, aiming to enhance their knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
Participants can expect to learn a wide range of engineering fundamentals in Immerse Education online courses. Topics covered may include mathematics for engineering, physics, principles of design, computer-aided design (CAD), project management, and more. Please note that the specific topics covered can vary depending on the course module provided.

Parents FAQ
We have strict safeguarding policies and procedures that cover all cases of students needed medical attention to ensure student safety and wellbeing. If a child requires medical attention, all of our staff are first-aid trained are able to handle minor injuries or illnesses on-site, while more serious cases are referred to the nearest hospital or GP practice. All of our team members pass an Enhanced DBS check (the UK’s criminal record check) and undergo safeguarding and welfare training. Our resident summer team, together with college personnel, supervise each of our sites 24/7. The colleges and the cities themselves are very safe environments.
Meals are provided for students during the programme, with specifics depending on the student’s age group and exact location or college. Typically, students aged 13-15 receive breakfast, lunch, and dinner either on-site or near their accommodation, while students aged 16-18 are provided with breakfast and dinner, with various lunch options available near their accommodation or classrooms.Our host venues accommodate all dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, halal, gluten-free, and allergy-related needs. If your child has specific allergies or dietary restrictions, please include these details in the post-enrolment form so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Students will be responsible for getting to and from the city where the programme is located. However, travel to and from excursions, tours and activities attended during the programme’s duration will be fully arranged by Immerse Education and are included in the fees.
