This pathway offers a deep dive into public speaking and storytelling, providing unparalleled insight into confident, TED-style communication.
Ideal age range
For ages 15-18 on the residential programme in London, New York and Singapore, or 14-18 on the virtual programme.
Small class sizes
Small groups of 8-12 students, ideal for focused coaching and feedback.

A 2-week programme culminating in a live TED-style talk.
Explore the curriculum
Immerse yourself in rigorous public speaking and storytelling sessions, led by expert speakers and coaches. Classes go beyond standard curricula, covering how to research, structure and deliver an idea worth sharing.
Turn an original idea into a fully scripted TED-style talk. You’ll research your topic, sharpen your argument and rehearse your delivery with structured feedback at every step.
With small groups of 8-12 students, every participant gets focused coaching and personal feedback — ideal for building confidence on stage.
The two-week programme culminates in a live TED-style talk, delivered to an audience of peers, coaches and guests — the moment where preparation meets the stage.

Simon Hall
Simon Hall created and leads an award-winning course in public speaking, storytelling and writing skills at the University of Cambridge, and runs his own business communication agency, Creative Warehouse. He has 20 books published, ranging from business and communication to crime fiction. The most recent, Compelling Communication (Cambridge University Press, 2024) accompanies his university course. Previously, Simon was a BBC Television, Radio and Online News Correspondent for 20 years.

The accommodation boasts modern communal lounges, a furnished outdoor courtyard, and attractive open-plan dining areas. This will be your home away from home as you engage in an exciting *subject* programme in London to help shape your future.
Graduation Ceremony and Dinner
The Graduation Ceremony marks the completion of your *pathway* course. This event will be an lively celebration of achievements. With heartfelt speeches, award presentations, and a delicious celebratory meal, it offers a perfect opportunity for networking and reflecting on the course experience. This event will be a memorable conclusion to a transformative journey.

With accommodation perfectly situated to explore the sights and sounds of our capital city, living in London means being connected with world-famous universities and iconic landmarks.
Sports, Games & Leisure
Participants of the *subject* programme in London can enjoy a variety of cultural activities, excursions, and sports. Expect visits to landmarks like the British Museum and Tate Modern, boat rides on the Thames, and trips to the Tower of London. Sports enthusiasts can engage in team games at local parks, fitness sessions, and traditional English cricket matches, all fostering camaraderie and networking.
Evening Events
Situated between Bloomsbury and Kings Cross, our prime location allows us to explore industry hubs throughout the city and enjoy its exceptional food, culture, and history. Students will benefit from guest talks by inspirational speakers and experience a show in the West End.
