Where can you study Philosophy with Immerse Education?
Studying philosophy encourages you to think deeply about the world, ideas, and how people live their lives. At Immerse Education, you can study this subject in two ways. You can join us in person or learn online from anywhere in the world. Both options give you the chance to explore big questions, sharpen your thinking, and learn from experienced teachers.
Study Philosophy Online
If you prefer learning from home, our Online Philosophy programmes bring philosophy to you. You’ll have one-on-one tutoring with an expert who helps you understand complex ideas in simple ways. If you choose a group programme, workshops let you share thoughts with other students, sparking new ways of thinking.
You’ll also complete a personal project where you explore a topic that interests you. Live seminars with expert speakers give you deeper insights. At the end of the Online Philosophy programme, you’ll earn a certificate to show what you’ve achieved.
Study Philosophy In-Person
Our In-Person Philosophy summer programme takes place in the world-famous university city of Cambridge. You’ll walk the same streets as some of history’s greatest thinkers. Learning happens in small groups and through personal tutoring. You’ll discuss ideas, challenge opinions, and see philosophy in action.
You’ll also work on your own research project, guided by a mentor. This helps you develop your ideas and build confidence. Expert seminars bring fresh insights, while day trips let you explore historic sites and local culture. By the end of the Philosophy summer school, you’ll receive a certificate celebrating your hard work.

We have strict safeguarding policies and procedures that cover all cases of students needed medical attention to ensure student safety and wellbeing. If a child requires medical attention, all of our staff are first-aid trained are able to handle minor injuries or illnesses on-site, while more serious cases are referred to the nearest hospital or GP practice. All of our team members pass an Enhanced DBS check (the UK’s criminal record check) and undergo safeguarding and welfare training. Our resident summer team, together with college personnel, supervise each of our sites 24/7. The colleges and the cities themselves are very safe environments.
Meals are provided for students during the programme, with specifics depending on the student’s age group and exact location or college. Typically, students aged 13-15 receive breakfast, lunch, and dinner either on-site or near their accommodation, while students aged 16-18 are provided with breakfast and dinner, with various lunch options available near their accommodation or classrooms.Our host venues accommodate all dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, halal, gluten-free, and allergy-related needs. If your child has specific allergies or dietary restrictions, please include these details in the post-enrolment form so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Students will be responsible for getting to and from the city where the programme is located. However, travel to and from excursions, tours and activities attended during the programme’s duration will be fully arranged by Immerse Education and are included in the fees.
