In-depth academic sessions

Expert academic tutors guide students through a bespoke, subject-specific curriculum that deepens their understanding and enhances critical thinking skills.

Personal research project

Students design and complete an independent research project, developing essential skills in research, academic writing, referencing, and argumentation — culminating in a final written report. Perfect for university applications!

Choice of 1:1 or group lessons

Students have the choice between individual tutorials with their subject tutor, offering personalised feedback and mentorship, or learning in a group setting amongst like-minded peers.

4.
Certificate of achievement and accreditation

Upon completion, students receive a certificate recognising their academic work — ideal for university applications, portfolios, or CVs. For accredited courses, they also receive a copy of their qualification recognised by universities around the world.

5.
Publication in Research Journal

For Publication Research Programme students, they will finish their programme with 4 hours of coaching to support them in publishing their work in an internationally recognised high school journal.

Our online cybersecurity programme connects 13-18-year-old participants with a dedicated subject tutor for specialised study of data security and the wider field of cybersecurity, followed by the completion of an academic research project in a related area.

Develop a pre-university research project

Immerse Education’s encryption & cybersecurity online research programme gives students the chance to explore how digital security protects information. With expert guidance, students explore encryption techniques, cyber threats, and strategies for securing data. The programme combines personalised one-on-one tutoring with an in-depth research project. Within the field of computer science, each student selects a topic that interests them, develops their own line of inquiry, and may be invited to present their findings at the Immerse Online Symposium.

Skills you will develop

Students strengthen their critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills - especially when it comes to explaining complex ideas with clarity. Through guided exploration of cybersecurity topics, they also practise independent research and develop the confidence to tackle unfamiliar challenges. These soft skills are valuable not only for university, but for any future path that demands clear thinking and effective collaboration.

A learning experience beyond the classroom

Cybersecurity is more than coding. Our encryption & cybersecurity online courses encourage students to ask questions, study real-world cases, and discuss the impact of digital threats. Parents FAQ

What if my child needs medical attention?

We have strict safeguarding policies and procedures that cover all cases of students needed medical attention to ensure student safety and wellbeing. If a child requires medical attention, all of our staff are first-aid trained are able to handle minor injuries or illnesses on-site, while more serious cases are referred to the nearest hospital or GP practice. For more information, or if you are unsure about whether we can accommodate your requirements, please contact us at enquiries@immerse.education.

How is my child's safety ensured during the programme?

All of our team members pass an Enhanced DBS check (the UK’s criminal record check) and undergo safeguarding and welfare training. Our resident summer team, together with college personnel, supervise each of our sites 24/7. The colleges and the cities themselves are very safe environments.

Are meals provided, and do you cater to dietary requirements?

Meals are provided for students during the programme, with specifics depending on the student’s age group and exact location or college. Typically, students aged 13-15 receive breakfast, lunch, and dinner either on-site or near their accommodation, while students aged 16-18 are provided with breakfast and dinner, with various lunch options available near their accommodation or classrooms.Our host venues accommodate all dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, halal, gluten-free, and allergy-related needs. If your child has specific allergies or dietary restrictions, please include these details in the post-enrolment form so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Is travel to and from the programme’s location included?

Students will be responsible for getting to and from the city where the programme is located. However, travel to and from excursions, tours and activities attended during the programme’s duration will be fully arranged by Immerse Education and are included in the fees.
