Each session is designed to equip students with essential skills directly relevant to their chosen field, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge to practical tasks and gain confidence in industry-related skills.
These sessions cover vital areas such as career exploration, job search strategies, evaluating potential employers, crafting future CVs, and writing impactful cover letters. Each session aims to build a comprehensive skill set that supports participants on their professional journey.
Led by Expert Tutors, these workshops provide insights into various career paths and industry practices. Participants benefit from the experiences shared by professionals, gaining practical knowledge and understanding of the skills required in their fields of interest. These sessions are designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional application, equipping students with tools essential for future success.
Each week, participants take part in small-group sessions exploring leadership, professional networking, and the skill sets future careers demand. These structured workshops help every student build confidence, connect with peers, and grow their career interests, professional network, and personal development goals.
Alongside your Career Skills sessions, you'll spend dedicated time studying your chosen subject in depth, guided by tutors with real industry experience. Step into the world of artificial intelligence this summer in London. Immerse Education's Artificial Intelligence Career Insights course is designed for students aged 15-18 who want to understand how AI works and where it could take their career. You'll explore how machines learn from data, run a simple classification task, and see how neural networks help computers interpret images. You'll also learn to write sharper prompts and spot where generative AI produces bias or hallucinations. This isn't just classroom learning. You'll map a real-world workflow and build a no-code prototype of an AI assistant, then test it and weigh up questions of trust, privacy and responsibility. Industry visits across London show you how AI is applied in real organisations, while career skills sessions help you build a skills-based CV and understand the routes into the industry. Participants in our London courses stay in various centrally-located accommodations at University College London (UCL), including Astor College and John Dodgson House. Just a short walk from world-famous landmarks such as the British Museum, the British Library, and Russell Square, these residences offer an authentic taste of city-based student life. Accommodation, meals, and extracurricular activities are all included, providing a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment. Students live and learn in modern facilities with easy access to the academic venues and cultural highlights that London is known for. Male and female students are housed separately, and all buildings are equipped with Wi-Fi.
