Step into the world of legal theory and justice at the Law Summer School in London, designed for students aged 16-18 who are curious about how the legal system shapes society. Meet our Law tutors

Our law tutors are passionate about teaching and have studied at some of the world’s top law schools. They bring real legal experience to the classroom, making lessons practical and engaging. They guide students through case studies, legal theory, and moot court exercises, using real-world examples to show how the law works in practice. Whether you’re curious about criminal law, human rights, or corporate law, they’ll help you explore different areas and develop your own opinions. Tutors give personal feedback to help students sharpen their reasoning and argument skills. They also support those learning English as a second language, breaking down legal terms so they’re easy to understand. More than just teachers, they are mentors who encourage discussion, debate, and curiosity. They create a supportive environment where students gain confidence in their abilities and leave with a stronger understanding of law and its impact on the world.

Astor College is one of the two accommodation locations for our London Summer School. Situated in the heart of Bloomsbury, this purpose-built student residence is practical, central, and perfectly placed for students who want to experience what studying in the capital really feels like.

Participants in our London programmes stay in various centrally-located accommodations at University College London (UCL), including Astor College and John Dodgson House. Just a short walk from world-famous landmarks such as the British Museum, the British Library, and Russell Square, these residences offer an authentic taste of city-based student life. Accommodation, meals, and extracurricular activities are all included in the programme, providing a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment. Students live and learn in modern facilities with easy access to the academic venues and cultural highlights that London is known for. Male and female students are housed separately, and all buildings are equipped with Wi-Fi.
