Experience the summer of your life

Live on campus

Stay in a Cambridge college and experience life as a student. A few weeks before you arrive at our Cambridge natural sciences summer school, you'll be assigned a college based on your subject and dates. If you’d like to stay with a friend or sibling, let us know, and we’ll do our best to arrange it.

Formal dinners in historic halls

Twice during your stay, you’ll attend a traditional Cambridge formal dinner. These three-course meals reflect the college’s long-standing traditions. The first dinner takes place in your first week, and the second is after the graduation ceremony. Smart clothing is recommended to match the occasion.

Celebrate at the graduation ceremony

Your achievements will be recognised in a historic Cambridge hall during a formal graduation ceremony. Faculty members, peers, and special guests will gather to celebrate your journey. The event ends with a traditional dinner, a perfect way to mark the end of an unforgettable summer.

Explore Oxford & London

Experience two full-day trips during the natural sciences summer school. One day will be spent in Oxford, where you’ll visit its famous colleges. You’ll also have the option to explore London, where you can see famous landmarks and enjoy some free time for shopping.

Afternoon activities & social events

Science isn’t the only thing on the schedule. Afternoons are packed with activities, from punting on the River Cam to zorb football and solving a murder mystery at the college.

Evenings full of energy

After a day of learning, evenings bring more chances to relax and connect. Take part in a quiz night, watch a talent show, enjoy a cake and canvas session, or listen to inspiring guest speakers. There’s something for everyone. This summer is a chance to learn, explore, and make memories in a city known for discovery.
