The Career Insights programme has been great. I’ve been interacting with so many different people from different cultures and different countries, and it’s been fun to learn new things about business management that I didn’t know earlier. Throughout the programme, I’ve noticed myself developing and changing into a more confident individual who has more clarity of his future. This session covers anime’s cultural significance, diverse industry job roles, and the production pipeline. It concludes with a Q&A session, in which participants will engage directly with and explore the animation world in greater detail.

With roots dating to 1878, the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the world’s third-largest, gives students an exciting introduction to Japan’s financial sector through presentations and live-feed trading workshops that bring investing and decision-making vividly to life.

Our summer school in Tokyo is a thoughtfully designed educational experience for high school students eager to broaden their horizons. Engineering, Business Management, and Film & Animation programmes introduce participants to key ideas in their chosen field through a blend of seminars, workshops, and collaborative activities. These sessions are designed to deepen subject understanding while encouraging curiosity, discussion, and intellectual growth. Alongside their studies, students experience the energy and culture of Tokyo, enriching their learning beyond the classroom.
In addition to academic sessions, our Tokyo summer camp students will also take part in cultural workshops that introduce elements of traditional Japanese life, including tea ceremonies, calligraphy, and martial arts. Our tutor was amazing. He knew the answer to every question that you could think of about engineering, knew about everyone’s specialist subjects and was happy to discuss opportunities in each field with us. My favourite aspect of the programme would be going on Industry trips such as the tour of the London Underground, and how engineering plays such a vital role. It’s so much easier to learn and focus when there’s something that’s always keeping your attention rather than just having to focus only on lectures and classroom learning.
The Career Insights programme has been really, for lack of a better word, ‘immersive’ into what the experience of living in London for university would really be like – having that chance to connect with different people and comparing our own experiences, discussing what we’ve learned and meshing all our knowledge to come up with big collective ideas to share with the group in class. The programme has given me a lot of clarity on what a career or even a university education in medicine really looks like.
