What to Expect in a Biology Programme
Immerse Education’s Biology summer schools offer high school students an in-depth exploration of the life sciences. The ‘Academic Insights’ Pathway includes comprehensive laboratory work, field research, and the study of biological principles. Students investigate various biological processes and engage in scientific inquiry to understand the complexity of living organisms. Through hands-on experiments and critical analysis, they develop a profound understanding of biological systems and interactions. This program equips students with the scientific skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the field of biology, laying a strong foundation for future academic and research pursuits.
With Immerse, participants can choose to study Biology remotely as part of a group in an academic biology online summer course.
‘Online Insights’ will arm remote learners with the same experiments, field studies and lab work as the residential Academic Insights programme.
Alternatively, participants can complete an Online Research Programme, during which they’ll delve into a personally chosen research area with the help of an expert biologist, ultimately producing a university-level academic paper.
