Immerse Education is proud to be partnering with School Of Coding, whose aim is to inspire and excite students across the UK about the possibilities of studying computer science.
Recently featured on BBC News, School Of Coding aims to inspire students and create future tech leaders with fantastic educational, hands-on workshops.
Our Career Insights students had the opportunity to explore coding with School of Coding in 2022, where they learned about the use of coding using real-world examples and explored computer science as a branch of the vast and ever-growing engineering career path.
Students began their session by building on the fundamental rules of computer science, by learning how to code an electrical circuit with colour-changing lights. Participants quickly gained confidence in their coding ability with the support of the School of Coding team, and before long were programming the navigation of drones, exploring how to structure information in a way that enabled the drones to successfully navigate the classroom obstacle course, finishing off with a back flip and precision landing on an ‘X’ marks the spot.
Immerse students have the opportunity to use the latest educational technology to code drones, and learn about the future of Virtual Reality in this immersive session.
We’re very excited to be working with School of Coding to bring our students award-winning coding and computer science experience in 2023.
