Immerse Education Video Competition Terms & Conditions 2024

1. Eligibility
   • The competition is open to students aged 13-18 who are participating in Immerse Education programmes over the summer from 30 July to 20 August 2024
2. Submission Guidelines
   • Participants must submit their videos via the provided form
   • Videos must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the participant’s programme.
   • Each video should be between 15-30 seconds in length.
   • The content must be appropriate for public viewing on Immerse Education’s social media channels (e.g. no swearing, offensive content, etc.).
3. Content Ownership and Usage
   • By submitting a video, participants grant Immerse Education the right to use, edit, and post the video on its official Instagram, TikTok, Youtube and other social media channels.
   • Participants retain ownership of their videos but grant Immerse Education a perpetual non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the content for promotional purposes.
4. Winner Selection and Prizes
   • The top 3 videos with the most views within 10 days of being posted on Immerse Education’s social media channels will win a £50 gift card to an outlet of the winner’s choice (Amazon, Apple, Target, etc.).
   • Additional prizes may be awarded for exceptional individual videos at the discretion of the judges.
   • Winners will be notified via email within 1 month of the end of the summer.
5. General Rules
   • Participants must ensure that their videos do not infringe on any third-party rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights.
   • Immerse Education reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions.
6. Privacy
   • Personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
7. Liability
   • Immerse Education is not responsible for any technical issues or failures that may affect the ability to submit videos or count views.
   • Participants agree to release and hold harmless Immerse Education from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their participation in the competition or acceptance/use of any prize.
8. Amendments
   • Immerse Education reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Participants will be notified of any changes via email.

By submitting a video, participants acknowledge that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
