Join TED Summer School
Admission to the TED Summer School is selective. We’re looking for curious, motivated students who are eager to grow as communicators and ready to develop their ideas and their voice.

Complete the online form
Begin by completing the online enrolment form together with your parent or legal guardian. You’ll be asked for basic contact information, as well as your preferred programme location, format, and dates.
Share your motivation
To help us understand your motivation, please answer the following question:
“Why do you want to build your communication and public speaking skills?”
Provide a short written answer (200-250 words)

Secure your place
To secure your enrolment, a £995 deposit is required at checkout. This deposit will be applied toward the total programme fee. We ask parents or legal guardians to review the application before payment to ensure full awareness and consent.

Get your enrolment confirmation
Our team will review your enrolment details and confirm your place within 2–3 working days.
In the event that there are no places available, we will offer an alternative date or location where possible, or issue a full refund of your deposit.

Get ready
Once your place in the programme is confirmed, you will receive a welcome pack with practical information, preparation guidance, and next steps to help you make the most of your experience

The enrolment process
TED Summer School is designed for motivated students who are ready to challenge themselves and develop their communication, public speaking, and leadership skills in a focused yet supportive environment.
Places are limited to ensure small-group learning, so we encourage families to enrol early to secure their preferred session and location.
1. Start your application
Begin by completing the online application form together with your parent or legal guardian.
You’ll be asked for basic contact information, as well as your preferred programme location and dates.
2. Submit your motivation
To help us understand your motivation, please answer the following question: “Why do you want to build your communication and public speaking skills?”
You can either:
- Write a short personal statement (200-250 words)
- Upload a 90-second video as your answer
3. Confirm your application
To complete the application, a £995 deposit is required. This deposit will be applied toward the total programme fee if your application is successful. If we are unable to offer a place, it will be refunded in full.
We ask parents/legal guardians to confirm the application before payment to ensure full awareness and consent.
4. Admissions review
Our admissions team carefully reviews each application to assess motivation and curiosity. We’re not looking for perfection, we’re looking for promise.
You’ll hear from us within 7 days of submitting a your application. If successful, you’ll receive an offer letter along with the next steps for enrolment.
5. Get ready
Once enrolled, you’ll receive further guidance, with recommended reading and preparation tips closer to the programme start.
