Tingxuan is an experienced orator and debate enthusiast committed to using public speaking to spark meaningful global conversations.
Tingxuan proposes the establishment of ‘Analog Zones’ – designated times in public spaces where technology is set aside to prioritize human interaction. It is a local solution designed to reclaim our focus from digital consumption.
Tingxuan says:
“I have been passionate about public speaking from a young age, developing my skills through LAMDA and debate competitions. For me, being an orator is about giving voice to experiences and sparking meaningful conversation. Receiving a 50% scholarship for the TEDx Learning to Speak Out Challenge means a great deal to me, as it both recognises my journey so far and motivates me to keep developing my voice. One day, I hope to take that even further and deliver a TEDx talk of my own!”
