Immerse Future Innovators Scholarship Competition
Every great business starts by fixing a problem worth solving. The Immerse Future Innovators Scholarship Competition is a chance for students to think big, solve real-world problems, and bring their ideas to life. Whether applying individually or as a group, students will identify a problem or gap in the market, explain why it matters, and propose an innovative solution that could make a real impact.

How Does It Work?
Students can apply for one of five scholarship categories, each aligning with Immerse Education’s world-class summer programmes in leadership, business, STEM, and the humanities.
Students will submit their innovative solution as a written proposal or video submission.
Entries will be judged by a mix of Immerse Education tutors and guest judges (industry experts).
Students must enter within one of the following categories:
• Immerse Future Leaders & Creative Thinkers Scholarship: for students passionate about leadership, business, law, or creative industries.
• Immerse Future Engineers & Technology Pioneers Scholarship: for future problem-solvers in engineering, AI, and emerging technologies.
• Immerse Future Doctors & Scientists Scholarship: for aspiring medical professionals, researchers, and environmental scientists.
• Immerse Future Social Scientists & Changemakers Scholarship: for students interested in human behaviour, justice, and policymaking.
• Immerse Future Financial & Business Leaders Scholarship: for those aiming to lead in business, finance, and global markets.
Age Range
Aspiring entrepreneurs can submit an entry if they are between 13-18 years old.
Submission
Written Proposal (600–700 words) OR Video Submission (4–6 minutes).
Deadline
The competition closes on April 30th, 2025.
Grand Prize
In each of the 5 categories, the winning entry will receive a 100% scholarship to one of our award-winning programmes.
How to Enter
Students can work individually or in teams of up to three. Each team member is expected to contribute equally, and all members of the same team will receive the same scholarship amount.

Who can participate in the competition?
The Immerse Future Innovators Scholarship Competition is open to students aged 13–18 who are currently enrolled in secondary school or sixth form. You can enter individually or as part of a team of up to three students — but everyone on the team must meet the age criteria. Entry is completely free.
What needs to be included in my submission?
You can submit your idea in one of two formats:
- • A written proposal (600–700 words)
- • A video pitch (4–6 minutes)
Your submission should clearly:
- • Identify a real-world problem or market gap
- • Explain why it matters and who it affects
- • Propose an innovative solution
- • Describe the potential impact of your idea
What are the prizes?
In each of the categories:
- • 🥇 One winning entry will receive a 100% scholarship
- • 🥈 Two outstanding entries will receive a 75% scholarship
- • 🥉 Five top-tier entries will receive a 50% scholarship
Additional recognised entries will receive scholarships of 10–30%, based on the judges’ feedback.

What are the key dates?

What file formats are accepted?
- Business plan: PDF format (maximum 10MB)
- Video pitch: File uploaded to YouTube as an unlisted video. YouTube accepts a variety of video file formats for uploads, including .MOV, .MPEG4, .MP4, .AVI, and .WMV.
What happens if I win?
Winners will be contacted directly with details about their prize. Our team will work closely with you to ensure you get the most value from your prizes and support package.
