We’re incredibly excited and proud to report that Seema Kumari, an Immerse Scholar, has secured a full scholarship to Harvard University in the United States of America.
Seema comes from a small village named Dahu in Ormanjhi, Jharkhand in India, and her inspiring story has inspired many around the world.
Seema attended the Immerse Education Academic Insights programme in Cambridge in 2019 after being awarded a full scholarship. Seema had an amazing experience on the programme, saying:
I am really grateful for the Immerse programme. I enjoyed having different tours to the other colleges of Cambridge and the tours around the city. It has helped me to interact with different students who’re from completely different backgrounds and to get to know them.
