    All participants will live, study, dine and relax within St. Paul's College, a stunning residential community that's part of the University of Sydney. Founded in 1846, St Paul’s is Australia’s oldest university college. Today, the college hosts around 200 pupils per year and is nestled within 18 acres of idyllic grounds.

    Participants taking part in Sydney Academic Insights courses will enjoy a variety of cultural and leisure activities. Whether you're taking a break from academics by crafting, baking, enjoying a film, or you're taking part in something more strenuous like a sports day or debating competition - there's always something on to get involved in.

  • Graduation Ceremony and Dinner

    The Graduation Ceremony marks the completion of your Career Insights course. This event will be an elegant celebration of achievements. With heartfelt speeches, award presentations, and a delicious celebratory meal, it offers a perfect opportunity for networking and reflecting on the course experience. This event will be a memorable conclusion to a transformative journey.

  • Activities

    We are proud to offer an exceptional social programme which provides an exhilarating tour of Sydney. This includes activities like a cruise around Sydney Harbour, a sports tournament on Manly Beach and a murder mystery night in the college.

  • Day Excursions

    Expect excursions during our summer programme, which include exploring the iconic landmarks Sydney has to offer, including Sydney Opera House, the Australian Museum and the Royal Botanic Gardens. Activities and excursions are run by our team of friendly mentors who are current University of Sydney students and city experts.

A former Research Associate at the University of Oxford, he is the author of Court Festivals of the Holy Roman Empire, 1555–1619 and serves on the Advisory Board of the Society for European Festivals Research. He has worked with Immerse since 2019.
