1. Choosing a Degree or University

Reflect on the factors that influenced your choice—have your priorities shifted? What did your decision-making journey look like?

How did you choose and approach your supercurricular? What did you gain from it, personally or academically? How has it supported your application?

Pick one area—leadership, communication, productivity, adaptability, or emotional intelligence—and explore how you’ve developed it. Was it a single moment or a gradual shift?

What local experience would you recommend to others? How did it challenge or expand the way you see your city—or your subject?

What are the biggest challenges students face today? Share health, wellness, or productivity strategies that help you cope and thrive.

What have you explored beyond the classroom in your favourite subject? What drew you to it, and what insights can you share with others?

Written blog entry

What is the submission criteria?

Your piece should clearly connect to one of the blog themes. What’s the personal angle or question you’re exploring?

Write in an accessible, engaging blog style—first person is encouraged. It should feel like a conversation, not a school essay.

We want to know why this matters to you. What have you learned? What would you tell someone in your shoes?

Make sure your blog has a clear beginning, middle, and end. Introduce your idea, explore it thoughtfully, and wrap up with a takeaway or reflection.

Entries that stand out and don’t use AI generation will likely be the most original and exciting blogs.
