Tuesday was a wet day in Cambridge…

Today’s activity gave the participants the chance to explore, with students visiting various colleges including St. Johns, Gonville and Caius, and Trinity. Despite the rain, the students loved the history and the grandeur of the colleges. Other students opted to visit some of the local, iconic museums, seeing works by artists such as Michelangelo, Monet, Degas, and Seurat in the Fitzwilliam Museum; dinosaurs, fossils, and a Darwin exhibition were also on display in the Sedgewick Earth Sciences. A good time was had by all.

Time for a Cambridge Challenge

In the evening, subject workshops and mock interviews provided a challenge to the participants, and gave students a chance to fine tune their applications to university. Participants had one to one sessions with current Cambridge students, giving them a chance to ask anything and everything about the application process and to perfect their personal statements.

All in all an extremely educational day, but one enjoyed by all.
