On their final night, participants were invited to attend an end-of-session graduation party, at none other than the prestigious Cambridge Union Society. This involved a sit-down meal in the Fairfax Rhodes room, followed by an after-party in the Blue Room.
It’s Hawaiian Party Time
The theme of the bash was “A Taste of the Tropics: Hawaiian Extravaganza”. Sandy beaches were projected onto a screen, our own mentor, Dip, served as resident DJ, and there was even a photo booth. Fancy dress also proved popular, with participants able to choose from a variety of different coloured hula skirts to wear for the night. Even Dip couldn’t resist! Our mentor Gopija ran a glow-in-the-dark face paint stall and glow-sticks were also provided. This created an eclectic and colourful extravaganza as our participants boogied under the Blue Room’s atmospheric lighting.
A well-earned opportunity for participants to celebrate their achievements, the event marked the close of an intense, exhilarating and unforgettable week.
