by Panayiotis, an Oxford Summer Course Participant

The last 5 days, during which I participated in the Immerse Education Oxford summer programme have been amazing. I don’t even know where to start!

My tutor, who knows her subject very well has been a great teacher. She taught us all about surgical procedures, and diseases of body systems, and has also given us the opportunity to look deeper into specific organ systems – something we don’t have the opportunity to do in school!

Our mentors are always available to answer our questions, about the programme and our future application to university. All the participants are very happy to have become friends with our mentors as we can talk openly with them about any topic and have fun.

The Immerse programme has given me the opportunity to see a completely new world while staying and studying at Oxford University. The experience is very different compared to the one I live back home. Our afternoon and evening activities for the last five days were very interesting, especially the Oxford formal dinner last Wednesday.

I am looking forward to more activities in the coming days which will become unforgettable memories!

Thank you for this amazing experience, Immerse Education!
