The Psychology summer course with Immerse introduces you to undergraduate-level concepts, whilst encouraging analytical and critical thinking. Immerse tutors guide you towards a deeper understanding of the complex interactions between the mind, brain, behaviour and experience.


The programme, designed and taught by Psychology experts from world-leading universities, such as Cambridge, not only introduces the historical context and areas of psychological discussion but also the theories of famous psychologists who have shaped the understanding of the human mind and the way we work.

Ben Farrar

Ben Farrar is a PhD candidate in Psychology at the University of Cambridge. His PhD focuses on animal and human intelligence and the scientific method. He achieved a 1st class degree in Natural Sciences, also from the University of Cambridge. He has previously worked on neuroimaging projects investigating how memory and the brain change with age, and whether neural signatures could be used to detect diseases such as Alzheimer's.

Our academic summer schools are designed for students aged
13-15 years old, and for students aged 16-18 years old. Whatever
age you are, you will be taking part in an academically demanding
(but enjoyable!) programme, living in Cambridge University
colleges, and meeting other motivated students from all over the
