The Immerse Online Insights programme allows you to explore university-level topics with world-class tutors on a virtual platform. You can participate in a subject of your choice and study in small groups with motivated students from all over the world.

What to Expect from Online Insights Programme
Gain an unparalleled understanding of a subject of your choice. Learn university-level topics alongside other students from around the world with the guidance of expert university tutors from Oxford University and Cambridge University.
Participants will focus on advanced content and develop both the expertise and enthusiasm to plan for an academic future with confidence. Students take part in a combination of subject-based tuition, 1:1 tutorials, future skills workshops and social activities with students from around the world.
All teaching is delivered by our faculty of academics from Oxford and Cambridge University – the same tutors that teach at our residential summer schools. To see how the Online Insights programme is structured, please view the timetable.
Online Insights is designed to emulate the experience of academic seminars in a university environment. Aside from daily contact with their tutors, participants will also meet current undergraduates at Cambridge University during activities, learn from visiting expert guest speakers and engage in interactive skills-based workshops.
Subject-Based Lessons
With a maximum class size of ten students (an average of five), the most popular subjects on our residential programmes are available online, such as medicine, engineering, business management, law and more.
1:1 Tutorials
On our Classic programme, students have personal one-to-one supervision with their subject tutor, to review their performance in the course and discuss the progress of their personal project. Students also have direct access to tutors during “office hours”, each week
University-level Tuition
Each syllabus is designed to reflect the standard of learning required at an undergraduate level of university. Classes are delivered by enthusiastic and passionate tutors who are experts in their academic field, and are experienced at teaching undergraduates at Oxford and Cambridge University.
Interactive Virtual Learning
All virtual classes are delivered via our online education platform – which offers students a wide range of teaching functionality including video conferencing, interactive whiteboards, breakout rooms, text chat, polls, quizzes and other custom apps. Students will be able to instantly connect with their teacher, as well as other students based around the world, and receive university-level tuition from the comfort of their own home.

If you’re not sure which Online Insights delivery mode to opt for you can use the guide below:
- Intensive (2 Days): Select this option if you’re looking for a taster for what to expect at university and university preparation skills.
- Classic (1 Week): A great option if you’re looking to explore a more immersive, and deeper academic experience, in conjunction with university preparation. Additionally if you are looking to add to your project portfolio, this option is for you.
- Classic Summer (2 Weeks) A great option if you’re looking to explore more advanced Oxbridge-level study and academic experience for uni preparation, and also wish to add a project to your portfolio.

What Do Alumni Say?
I’m planning on pursuing medicine and cell biology in both A-level and university, so the programme showed me how it would be taught at a higher level.I found it very surprising how helpful my tutor was and how accommodating they were. They explained a lot of things over and over, and especially in one-to-one sessions beforehand, you got quite a bit of time to ask them questions about what you didn’t understand.
My tutor was very specialised in cell biology, which I found was very helpful because even in the lessons, if something wasn’t mentioned, they were able to use their own knowledge and explain it, which I found was very interesting because I learned some extra things along the way, too.
