by Tura, Oxford Summer Course Participant
When I decided to join the Immerse Education Oxford summer programme I thought it would be great for my CV – I was correct!
The academic sessions at Oxford are stimulating, but that is just one part of being an Immerse student. In only a week, I have been able to make friends and learn essential skills needed for the contemporary world, like accepting people with cultural and personal differences, as well as the new knowledge I have built in my classes.
As an international student, it seemed challenging in the beginning, to understand the way everyone speaks and adapt to a different lifestyle, but since the first day, I have felt completely at home, because everybody is here for the same reason and is open to exchange both culture and knowledge.

This summer is the perfect balance for an amazing experience because there are scheduled activities that allow time for fun, learning and socializing, such as academic sessions, workshops and games. We also have the independence to discover the college surroundings and the city by ourselves.
I cannot quite describe the feeling of being here. Every day is a mix of excitement and intellectual curiosity, students who immerse themselves in this will only leave this program improved and inspired.
