As soon as I arrived I got myself registered, and shortly after I had already made some friends. That first night we enjoyed dinner, which was pretty good, along with a welcome talk that made me feel less nervous and stressed because I realized that everyone was so friendly.

Breakfast was really good, everything was incredibly organized so we made it to our classes quite quickly. The tutor was really nice, she even gave us all a book as a gift. My classmates and I got to know each other and new friendships began to form. In the afternoon we went on a really interesting college tour and explored some incredible buildings. To finish the day we played some outdoor games that were genuinely fun!

Tuesday’s lessons were wholly immersive and enriching at the same time. At lunchtime, we relaxed before heading to our afternoon workshops. Later, the afternoon activity was built around British Sports games which were quite entertaining. Later we listened to the mentors talk about their experiences studying at the University of Oxford which was really insightful.

During the morning we continued with our usual schedule of morning academic sessions and afternoon workshops. Later we decided to go for a college tour of St Anne’s College, where one of our mentors studies. In the evening we enjoyed an incredible formal dinner at St. Edmund’s Hall – it was a really nice and unique experience.

We went to the museum for our morning class, and it was incredibly stimulating. After the tour, we went for lunch as we were near the centre and later we went back to the college for our afternoon workshops. Afterwards, we went to Hartford College and explored the campus. After dinner, we went to Christ Church College for and listened to a special guest speaker talk.
